My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: My greatest challenge was preparing and succeeding in the GMAT/GRE.
About me: Born and raised in Tangier, Morocco, I always dreamed of experiencing life as an international student, therefore I worked hard to make that dream a reality. I specialised in Mathematics and Engineering during high school before joining EDHEC Business School on their undergraduate degree in Business Administration, majoring in Corporate and Investment Banking.
After graduating in 2024, I went on a gap year to intern as a private equity analyst in a leading investment fund in Morocco. Prior to my internship, I had the opportunity to work across four countries in four years and experience the culture in each. I worked first in transaction services, audit and consulting before joining the private equity industry. These experiences gave me a solid foundation in finance, which I am looking to deepen through my studies at LBS.
I chose to join LBS to meet a network of extraordinary people, build connections and get closer to my goal of starting a career in investment banking in London. Beyond my professional interests, I am a former gymnast, with different entrepreneurship projects and volunteering experiences.
Three topics I can be approached about: Application process; succeeding at LBS; general insights.
