About me: With eight years’ experience in export finance, I began my career at Türk Eximbank, Türkiye’s official Export Credit Agency, where I served as an International Loans Specialist. In this role, I developed expertise in buyer credits, working on transactions under sovereign and bank guarantees. During my tenure, I wrote a comprehensive thesis on ‘Global Implementations in Software Export Finance’, which contributed to my recognition as the winner of the Emerging Trade Financier award by ITFA in 2020.
Since 2021, I have been primarily responsible for managing the ECA Committee at the Berne Union Secretariat, while also actively contributing to specialist meetings and various initiatives. I am dedicated to mentoring young female professionals through the Women Entrepreneurs Association of Türkiye and am a member of Women in Banking and Finance.
I am currently pursuing a Masters in Finance at LBS with a Women in Finance scholarship. I hold a degree in Economics from Istanbul University and an MSc in Information Technologies from Sabancı University. Additionally, I completed an Erasmus Exchange at Universidad de Valencia in Spain and hold a certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute.
