My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Balancing academics and personal interests with GMAT preparation, while making sure my application conveyed a strong and consistent career narrative.
About me: I’m one of the few LBS students who was born and raised just an hour from campus. My own route here, however, was less straightforward. I studied Biochemistry at University of Leeds before a year in healthcare private equity at AXA Investment Managers convinced me that the intersection of science and finance is where I want to build my career.
As someone who has navigated a career switch, I’m a natural advocate for the value of diverse backgrounds. I’ve found LBS to be a welcome community of people with equally unique journeys.
Beyond my studies, I’m a keen footballer and endurance runner, with a strong interest in promoting women’s sport.
I benefited greatly from advice during my application process and am very happy to offer the same. Please feel free to reach out
Three topics I can be approached about: Transitioning from STEM into finance; London life; women in business.
