About me: I have always loved a challenge and knew from a young age that I wanted to serve in the British Army.
After graduating from the University of Edinburgh in 2016, I commissioned from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and was selected into the Parachute Regiment. During my military career, I was privileged to work with some exceptional people on three operational deployments: in Afghanistan, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. What I enjoyed most about my time in service were the opportunities to shape the development of others, the ability to formulate meaningful plans grounded in analysis, and the insights offered into geopolitics.
I left the military in search of further personal and professional growth. An MBA at LBS seemed the best way to kick-start this journey, allowing me to develop business skills and understanding to complement my leadership experience. I was delighted to receive a scholarship to pursue my studies.
After LBS, I aspire to become a strategy consultant and tackle complex issues, help shape the direction of organisations and interact with new people and problems on a regular basis.
Outside of my studies, I am involved with the Military in Business Club, Cycling Club and Expedition Club. I enjoy all outdoor pursuits but am especially keen on endurance events and am training for Ironman Wales 2025.
Three topics I can be approached for: Military candidates; non-traditional backgrounds; moving to London.
