Sector(s) of interest: Investment Banking

My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Translating my STEM background into a compelling business narrative.

About me: Before joining LBS, I completed my undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Imperial College London, where I developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills through both academic research and leadership roles. Over time, I realised I wanted to explore the world of finance.

Pivoting from STEM to investment banking was tricky – it meant moving from a world of lab research and scientific precision into one defined by markets, transactions and client relationships. The change felt daunting, but what made all the difference was the support I found through the LBS community. Conversations with student ambassadors and alumni gave me not only practical insights into the industry but also the confidence to believe in my ability to make this transition.

Now at LBS, I am excited to give back by supporting others who are navigating their own transitions. What inspires me most is the spirit of collaboration here: we grow together by sharing knowledge, encouragement and opportunities. I look forward to contributing to this ecosystem as a student ambassador.

Outside academics, I enjoy visiting museums, horse riding, spending time with my cat and exploring London’s food scene.

Three topics I can be approached about: STEM to business transition; cross cultural navigation; investment banking recruitment.
