My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Balancing my undergraduate studies alongside preparing for the GRE and completing my application to LBS.

About me: Born in Brazil to Korean parents, I have always been fascinated by different cultures. At the age of 15, I moved to Switzerland to study at an international school, where I was surrounded by people from all over the world. This early exposure to a multicultural environment sparked my passion for pursuing a career in a truly global field. My journey has also enabled me to become fluent in Korean, Portuguese, Spanish and English, allowing me to connect more deeply with people from diverse backgrounds.

I pursued my undergraduate degree in Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where I built a strong academic foundation. During my time at LSE, I completed a summer internship in sales, trading and structuring at Barclays, which gave me valuable exposure to market-making and executing trades for clients. This experience reinforced my genuine interest in finance and motivated me to pursue the Masters in Financial Analysis at LBS. My current goal is to further enhance my skills and knowledge to advance my career in finance. I also look forward to meeting people from different backgrounds within LBS’s international community.

Please feel free to reach out with questions about the programme, applications or careers in finance. I am always happy to help!

Three topics I can be approached about: Applying to LBS; life in London; applying to investment banking roles.
