My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Presenting a cohesive profile that balanced my technical background with my interest in business and leadership, while showing my potential to contribute to a collaborative environment.
About me: As a volleyball player for eight years with a background in Chemical Engineering, I have learned to combine teamwork, discipline and analytical problem-solving. Now, as part of the MiM programme at LBS, I aim to stay connected to my engineering roots while moving into a business-oriented, decision-making role that focuses on operations and strategy.
I chose LBS for its world-class reputation, global alumni network and the flexibility to tailor the programme to my career goals. Beyond academics, I am excited to join the Volleyball Club and take part in the many professional and social clubs that make the LBS experience so dynamic. Being in London is equally inspiring, with its diversity, energy and endless opportunities to explore new cultures and interests.
My long-term aspiration is to work in industries where operations and business strategy come together, using my technical foundation to drive sustainable growth and innovation. At LBS, I look forward to developing the skills, networks and experiences that will prepare me to make an impact in both business and society.
Three topics I can be approached about: Non- traditional educational background; resources on the programme; leveraging multicultural exposure in new environments.
