My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Taking the GMAT.
About me: The first time I was in a university classroom, I was six years old. My mom studied in a humble public university and did not have anyone to take care of me, so she sat me next to her in class. I do not remember her professors or schoolfellows, but I have heard stories about how faculty members commented that everyone should be as focused as I was with my crayons.
It is amazing how with effort and by following my passions (including running for the Peruvian Track and Field team, being in the regional symphony, leading women forums, etc) I am currently sitting in one of the best business schools in the world. LBS offered financial aid that provided me with the opportunity to share classes with the most brilliant and diverse students from all over the world. I have three finance internships and one year as a full-time investment analyst under my belt. I chose LBS because it gives me the opportunity to continue growing personally and professionally in one of the best cities in the world, London.
