About me: Barbara holds a Bachelors degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and built 10 robots to realise her real passion: people. Before LBS, she worked for six years in human resources at Ambev, part of AB-InBev. During her fast-paced career, she led Learning & Development for South America and was responsible for implementing the cultural transformation that is leveraging Ambev to a more innovative and creative workplace. Before advancing in her career, she sees LBS as a fundamental step to 1. Learn how to work in a rich multicultural environment; 2. Consolidate her leadership skills; and 3. Acquire capabilities to thrive in a high-tech and fast-changing future of work. Her major interest post-MBA is to potentialise these skills with her people-centric abilities, to generate a unique value for consumers.

Barbara is passionate about knowing different cultures, she has travelled to 34 countries. She is a beer lover, enthusiastic about different styles, ingredients and creativity, and a food lover, trying anything from insects to tasting menus. At LBS, she has joined the Women's Touch Rugby Club, and is Executive Committee member for the Tech & Media Club and the Women in Business Club.
