About me: I hold a masters in International Relations from the University of Edinburgh and am an ICAEW-qualified chartered accountant specialising in banking and capital markets audits.
My career at PwC has focused on complex valuation work across private equity and distressed debt portfolios.
Beyond technical work, I served as Board Chair of the London ICAEW Student Society, managing an organisation that engages with fellow students to support their study paths, professional networking and career development. During my tenure in this role, the society won consecutive 'Student Society of the Year' awards, and I was also fortunate to be awarded the Financial Times ‘Rising Star of the Year’ award, which reflects my commitment to advancing the profession.
I chose the MiFFT programme at LBS to support my transition from audit into front office finance roles, leveraging my technical foundation in accounting. The programme's quantitative rigour and global network provide an ideal platform to pursue opportunities in M&A advisory and corporate finance.
Outside work and study, I'm passionate about cultural engagement through Scottish country dancing and choral singing, while maintaining strong interests in international affairs and cross-cultural connection.
Three topics I can be approached about: Accounting and financial reporting; leadership and professional development; career transitions in finance.
