About me: I am an advisory professional, with more than four years’ experience in valuations, financial modelling and M&A deals.
I hold a masters in Industrial Economics from the University of Asia and the Pacific, Philippines, and an AB Humanities from the same university. I shifted from economics to finance as I wanted to capitalise on the role of the private sector in contributing to economic development.
My most recent role was assistant manager at PwC Philippines, in their Deals and Corporate Finance Group, where I worked on deals and transactions across the power, transport, aviation, retail and financial services sectors, among others.
Since I have always been passionate about development, I joined LBS to deepen my expertise and knowledge in corporate finance, private equity and infrastructure and project finance through the many learning opportunities available – including the various clubs, electives and the wider LBS network. I hope to work in the development finance sector to continue working on making an impact in emerging markets and developing economies.
I currently serve as Junior Executive Committee member of the Women in Business Club and the Infrastructure and Construction Club, which both allow me to champion my interest in gender equality and infrastructure through building a community of like-minded members and connecting with industry practitioners.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring London, watching plays and musical theatre, and reading books about emerging economic ideas.
Three topics I can be approached about: Corporate finance, valuations and M&A; development economics; musical theatre (fun fact: I can rap the entirety of Hamilton!).
