Early Career Open Day
4th September 2021
Thank you for your continued interested in our Early Career programmes: Masters in Management (MiM), Global Masters in Management (Global MiM), Masters in Financial Analysis (MFA) and Masters in Analytics and Management (MAM).
We recently hosted our Open Day. We’re excited to offer the recordings of the live sessions, and additional on demand content with some useful insights about the programme, the LBS community and the opportunity to introduce you to some of the people that you will meet along your admissions journey.
The sessions have been specifically selected to ensure you hear first-hand what we feel is most important to you.
Welcome from Stephanie Thrane (Recruitment & Admissions Director, Early Career Programmes). Stephanie introduced the LBS community and gave a glimpse of what you can expect as a student at LBS.
Stephanie also provided an overview of the application process, touched on the different components of the application and gave advice on what makes a strong candidate. She was later joined by Charlotte Smith (Senior Global Recruitment Manager) to discuss FAQs about the Early Career programmes.
The Career Centre supports you in your career development during your degree. In this session Christian Dummett, Head of Careers Centre, gave an overview of the services they offer as well as an introduction to how to work with them during your programme.
Who better to talk about our Early Careers Programmes, than those who have gone through the process? Clementine Bouju (MFA2018), Preston Bloskas (MiM2017) and Kushal Bajpai (MAM2020) shared their experiences of both academic and campus life here at LBS.
Why not also check out these sessions to get first-hand, in-depth information on what to expect from your LBS journey.
Funding and financing will be one of your key considerations during your decision-making. Lydia Wakefield (Associate Director, External Partnerships and Scholarships), discusses our growing portfolio of scholarships, designed to support exceptional candidates who contribute significantly to the LBS Community.

Regardless of your background or career path, business education prepares you to become a successful leader, accelerate your career and make an impact on the world. Meet the students behind three of our most integral student-led clubs, driving equality and inclusivity: the Black in Business Club, the Women in Business Club and the Out in Business Club.
In each session, our dedicated Career Centre explains how we support our students and how we can help you reach your professional goals in the following industries: social impact, consulting, technology, retail, luxury and FMCG, healthcare, entrepreneurship and finance.
