Yuri Romanenkov

Yuri is the Academic Director of the Next Generational Digital Strategy Executive Education programme at LBS and teaches a range of strategy courses across the school’s portfolio of degree programmes. Prior to LBS, he held a range of leadership roles at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, incl. Executive Vice President and Chair of Executive Programmes. His prior teaching engagements include teaching undergraduate micro- and macro-economics at Harvard University.
In addition to his teaching work, Yuri also advises corporate executives and private equity investors around Europe on strategy, M&A, commercial due diligence, and business transformation, building on over 15 years of experience as a management consultant, incl. with The Boston Consulting Group in the firm’s London, New York, and Paris offices and currently as Partner at Claria Strategy and Senior Advisor at Evolution. His primary industry expertise is in retail & consumer goods, and tech.
His research interests relate to innovative business models and the ways technological change translates into new ways for businesses to compete.
Yuri holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with Excellence from SDA Bocconi, and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.
