Visiting Professor of Organisational Behaviour

Professor Michael Goss joins LBS for the 2024/25 academic year as a Visiting Professor of Organisational Behaviour during his sabbatical from his post as a Professor in the Department of Management at Colorado State University.

Professor Gross’ research focuses on emotions and discord in negotiation, and how diversity ideologies influence social identity threat. He has published in a variety of journals, including Decision Sciences, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Emotion Review. Over the course of the year, he will share his expertise on negotiation, conflict management, organisational behaviour, human resource management, and qualitative methods.

Aside from his teaching positions, Dr Gross was previously the Editor-in-Chief for four volumes of Negotiation and Conflict Management Research; currently serves on five editorial review boards; has won numerous academic awards, including the 2015 Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award for the College of Business; and is the creator of the widely popular NaC podcast series.
