Dr Hanbin Yang’s expertise in economics is rooted in practical experience gained from his time working at BlackRock as a Financial Analyst, combined with academic insights earned through an MSc in Finance and Economics from London School of Economics and a PhD in Business Economics from Harvard Business School.
Interested in the intersection of finance and industrial organisation, Dr Yang joins LBS as an Assistant Professor of Finance. His writing has appeared in a number of respected peer-reviewed papers in publications that include Econometrica and Oxford University Press’ Reviews of Economic and Financial Studies.
