Daniel Effron

Daniel A. Effron is a Professor of Organisational Behaviour and the chair of the Organisational Behaviour Subject Area at London Business School. Previously, he taught at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and was a fellow of the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University. He earned a Ph.D. in social psychology from Stanford University, and a B.A. in psychology from Yale University (magna cum laude).

Prof. Effron's research on the psychology of unethical behavior has appeared in his field’s top publications, including Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Psychological Science, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Journal of Consumer Research, and has been featured in such media outlets as the Financial Times, BBC News, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, and MSNBC. He currently serves as an associate editor at Management Science.

Named one of the "Best 40 Business Professors Under 40" by Poets & Quants, he has received teaching awards from the MBA classes of 2015 and 2020, as well as the 2023 Excellence in Teaching award – the highest teaching honor at London Business School.
