Niranjan Janardhanan

Dr Niranjan (Ninja) Janardhanan is an Assistant Professor of Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He holds a PhD in Management from the University of Texas at Austin, an MBA in Strategy and Leadership from the Indian School of Business, and a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore. Ninja’s research focuses on two main streams: how teams enable member inclusion and performance, and how workers manage their identities in novel and uncertain contexts. His research has been published in leading academic journals such as Organization Science, Journal of Applied Psychology, Human Resource Management Review, and Small Groups Research. Ninja has received awards for his research, reviewing, teaching, and mentoring. Prior to entering academia, Ninja worked with Global Foundries, Avago, and HSBC, where he led technical process integration and change management teams. He has provided consulting services focusing on improving leadership and team coordination at BMW, Constantia, the Tata Group, and public health centres in India.
