David Loschelder
Affiliate Lecturer of Organisational Behaviour
David Loschelder is Full Professor of Economic and Social Psychology at the University of Lüneburg, Germany, and Affiliate Faculty at London Business School since 2018.
David received his Ph.D. on negotiation and bargaining from the University of Trier and has lived and worked in Germany, Canada, the U.K., the U.S., and in New Zealand. He has spent research visits at the Business Schools in Stanford, Berkeley, Columbia (NYC), Wellington, and at INSEAD.
He has been awarded six Student Choice Teaching Awards and a university-wide Teaching Award for the best lecture. In addition to his work in academia, David consults and trains negotiations and bargaining at different companies (e.g., Eggimann Stöckli & Partners, UEFA, etc.); he coaches and consults former professional sports athletes and sports agents on how to negotiate effectively.
His research examines negotiations, first offers, pricing, precision, power, and effective win-win agreements—essentially all factors that help negotiators to create and claim value at the bargaining table.
