Andromachi Athanasopoulou

Guest lecturer of Organisational Behaviour

Dr Andromachi Athanasopoulou is an expert in leadership development (particularly on gender and C-suite leadership careers) and executive coaching, having published an Oxford University Press book and several articles at leading peer-reviewed journals in the area. She has also conducted research on business ethics and corporate social responsibility.

Andromachi has been selected by the International Coaching Federation as one of their Wisdom Weavers on the future of Coaching and is also a practicing executive coach, accredited by the Association for Coaching. Her leadership development research has been presented at the World Economic Forum and cited by global media such as CNNBBC World, the Financial Times and Forbes.

Andromachi has extensive experience teaching in various areas of organisational behaviour and management at executive education level as well as at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Her career includes academic roles such as Associate Professor in Organisational Behaviour at the School of Business and Management, Queen Mary University of London, where she previously served as Head of the People & Organisations Department and executive education Associate Fellow at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. She has also held academic appointments as Visiting Associate Professor at the London Business School, Adjunct Associate Professor (Education) at the UCL School of Management, residential Research Fellow at Harvard University (Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics), and Junior Research Fellow at Green Templeton College, University of Oxford.

She previously worked in banking and holds an MBA, an MSc in Management Research and a Doctorate (DPhil) in Management Studies, all from the Saïd Business School of the University of Oxford. Andromachi sits on the External Advisory Board of the Leadership Institute of a world-leading cancer center in the US, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in the UK.
