  • Mission: To cultivate an environment that promotes the representation, well-being, and advancement of the Black business community
  • Objectives:
    • Community: Act as the centre of community for all Black students and Allies at LBS  
    • Careers: Access to the best job opportunities for Black students across all programmes  
    • Champion: Amplify Black Voices on the LBS Campus

The Black Employee Network

  • Mission: BEN seeks to create a culture where Black employees feel heard, are represented, and receive equal recognition and opportunities. We aim to amplify Black voices and build a positive community where Black staff belong and thrive.   
  • Objectives:
    • Create an inclusive community and provide a platform to empower Black employees at LBS  
    • Support the recruitment and retention of Black employees and to create clear pathways for career progression  
    • Facilitate meaningful dialogue on the experiences of Black employees, raise awareness to the wider community and celebrate key cultural, historical and social events  
    • Develop high-level relevant programmes specifically designed for Black employees with a view to enhance LBS' core personal development offering

Black Young Professionals Network, Black British City Group and Sponsors for Educational Opportunity provide a platform and network to connect with other Black professionals both around the world and here, in the United Kingdom.

The Themba Muchaneta Black in Business Scholarship is named for a much loved MBA2021 alumnus who passed away in 2022. The scholarship is dedicated to support an exceptional student of Black or Mixed Black ethnicity who intends to contribute to racial equality and the Black in Business Club during their time at London Business School.
