Top three position for LBS in FT Global MBA Ranking
LBS placed in the top three for the third consecutive year
London Business School’s MBA is yet again recognised as one of the best in the world as today it holds its top three position in the FT Global MBA Ranking for the third consecutive year.
London Business School’s programme has remained consistently strong in the post-MBA employment and salary categories, and in the level of international diversity and experience.

“As a result, London Business School MBA graduates are sought after worldwide. This is reflected by the strong position we maintained in the survey’s post-MBA employment category. Our students achieved the highest employment rate in the top three at 93%.”
Highlights of the 2016 ranking for London Business School include:
• The School came in with the highest percentage increase in salary of the top five ranked schools, at 100%.
• An upward trajectory on the research rank, which this year moved up to fifth position from sixth last year.
• International diversity, including the percentage of international students (93%) and faculty (86%).
• International experience, comprising international exchanges, internships, Global Business Experiences and student treks, maintained a strong position in the ranking, remaining in seventh place.
• Alumni recommendations remain strong, maintaining fifth position.
101 business schools appear in the ranking, which is derived from 20 metrics with a primary focus on career success. This includes the current salary of the business school’s MBA class of 2012, three years after graduation. The rankings are calculated using data from three classes and this year are based on the MBA classes of 2012, 2015 and 2017. The FT Ranking methodology is independently audited.
