LBS Masters in Finance tops FT rankings

London Business School has topped the Financial Times’ Masters in Finance post-experience programme rankings for a second consecutive year.

Today's announcement follows the encouraging news that 84% of London Business School’s Masters in Finance (MiF) graduates last year found a job within four months of finishing their studies, across 32 cities in 23 countries around the world.


Launched in 1993, London Business School’s MiF students, from 38 nationalities, each bring around five years of finance experience to the programme, which allows everyday finance experience to be brought into the classroom.


They are taught by the School’s world-leading finance academics – including Professors Stephen Schaefer, Julian Franks, Francesca Cornelli and Suleyman Basak – many of whom act as consultants to financial institutions, industry and government, and hold directorships in a range of organisations.


As with other the rankings compiled by the Financial Times, today’s ranking is based on questionnaires completed by alumni who have been in the workplace for three years since graduation and by business schools themselves.


The School recently carried out its five-yearly review of its MiF programme and will announce the enhancements which will make the programme improve the MiF program even further and respond to the important changes that the financial sector is undergoing.
