LBS experts ranked in Top 30 Management Professionals

Four academics from London Business School have been ranked among the World's Top 30 Management Professionals for 2016.

Costas Markides, Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship; Lynda Gratton, Professor of Management Practice in Organisational Behaviour; Tammy Erickson, Adjunct Professor of Organisational Behaviour and Gary Hamel, Visiting Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship, are included in the Top 30 Global Gurus ranking.

Costas Markides, Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship, London Business School, says: “It is always gratifying when our research and ideas are recognised as novel and impactful. It is a crowded field so we are naturally proud to stand out.

Costas Markides who holds the Robert P. Bauman Chair of Strategic Leadership at London Business School, is an expert in strategic innovation. He is currently working on how management ideas can be used to address social issues such as reducing drug related crime and improving education.

Lynda Gratton is a Professor of Management Practice in Organisational Behaviour and Founder of Hot Spots movement. She continues to work as a consultant with many of the world’s biggest companies and is a prolific author.

Tammy Erickson is an Adjunct Professor of Organisational Behaviour, a McKinsey Award-winning author and expert on leadership, collaboration and the changing workforce. She directs LBS' programme Leading Businesses Into the Future for senior-most executives.

Gary Hamel, a Visiting Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at London Business School has authored The Future of Management and What Matters Now. As a consultant and management educator Hamel has worked for companies such as General Electric, Nestle, Shell, IBM and Microsoft.
