To all the applicants and participants in this year's CleanTech Challenge, London Business School student organisers, Elan and Ethan, and the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Private Capital (IEPC), would like to thank everyone involved in this important event for sharing their bold, climate-focused ideas and passion for change.

LBS student organisers of this year's event, and leading figures in the Energy & Environment Club, London Business School, Ethan Musca (LBS MBA candidate 2025) and Elan Code (LBS MBA candidate 2025), rate this year's event as an "incredible success" and "inspiring".

"To our brilliant finalists, CARBON CAPTOR, Incy Tech, OmniPath H2, ReFront, ShellVive, and Fetch, your dedication, creativity, and drive truly lit up the competition," said Ethan.

"To our mentors – thank you for guiding and empowering teams with your insights and experience.  To our judges – we’re grateful for the thoughtful deliberation and invaluable feedback you brought to the finals. To our sponsors Gore Street Capital and Sky – your support fuels this platform and helps amplify the impact of student-led innovation," said Elan.

Ethan added: "A special thank you to Entrepreneurship and Private Capital at London Business School for your ongoing support, and to the LBS CTC organising team – your hard work behind the scenes made every part of this journey possible."

Finally, Ethan and Elan warmly wish to congratulate this year's winners of the GO RE-Think CleanTech Award: Incy Tech and the Sky Zero Award: Fetch.

"This year’s challenge was a testament to the power of collaboration, creativity, and commitment to a more sustainable future. Keep an eye on these promising CleanTech ideas—they are the future of sustainability," said Ethan.

About this year's winners of the CleanTech Challenge 2025

Ethan and Elan extend a massive congratulations to Fetch (Harry Smith and Laura Duggan) winner of the Sky Zero Award, for their inspiring vision and commitment to climate impact.

Fetch is unlocking wave energy’s massive potential with a generator with only a single moving part for greater reliability and lower costs. Unlike traditional wave energy solutions, Fetch’s design is scalable, less disruptive to marine life, and offers a viable path to harnessing wave power’s 80,000 terawatt-hour potential.

"We're proud to partner with Sky and incredibly grateful for their sponsorship of the Sky Zero Award at this year’s LBS CleanTech Challenge. Your support empowers student innovators working toward a zero-carbon future," said Ethan.

"We are thrilled to announce the winner of this year's GO-REthink CleanTech Award—Incy Tech! Incy Tech is transforming renewable energy with Thermal Floaters—floating solar thermal devices that generate electricity using temperature differences between concentrated sunlight and water. With three times the efficiency of traditional solar panels and a low-cost, modular design, they offer a scalable solution to space, cost, and efficiency challenges in clean energy adoption. Congratulations on your outstanding innovation and vision for a more sustainable future," said Ethan.

"We’re incredibly grateful to Gore Street Capital for their generous sponsorship and continued support of the LBS CleanTech Challenge. Your commitment to advancing clean energy innovation helps power the next generation of climate solutions," said Elan.
