My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Defining my career goals while managing GMAT preparation and masters applications during my exchange semester in Paris.
About me: Before joining LBS, I studied Business and Economics at WU Vienna, where I focused on finance, strategy and managerial accounting and had the opportunity to spend a semester abroad at Université Paris Dauphine. Alongside my studies, I gained professional experience through internships at a Big 4 firm and in corporate banking, where I was exposed to advisory work, financial analysis and client engagement.
A mentoring programme with a bank particularly sparked my interest in banking and encouraged me to pursue a career in the financial sector. LBS felt like the ideal place to take this next step – not only because of London’s role as a global financial hub, but also because of the School’s highly diverse and collaborative community. I look forward to getting involved with student clubs and initiatives, while learning from peers who bring unique perspectives.
Outside of academics, I enjoy exploring coffee spots, visiting museums and travelling.
If you have questions about the MFA programme, the LBS community or the application process, feel free to reach out – I’m always happy to share my experience and help where I can.
Three topics I can be approached about: Application process; career services at LBS; managing personal and academic expectations.
