My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Managing my preparation for the GMAT with full-time studies, alumni meetings and two part-time university jobs as a teaching assistant.
About me: After working in multiple startups during high school, I developed a lasting interest in how businesses are created, grow and become profitable. This led me to study the operational areas of business from a managerial perspective at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, where I became increasingly intrigued by the role of financing in a company’s lifecycle.
Exploring both the firm and investor perspectives confirmed my passion for finance and motivated me to sharpen my expertise at LBS.
Professionally, I have gained experience across transaction advisory and management consulting with PwC, Roland Berger and, most recently, Boston Consulting Group. Focused on financial and commercial due diligence, I contributed to projects across diverse sectors, including pharmaceuticals, defence, financial institutions and FMCG. These experiences gave me valuable insights into the mechanics of debt in sponsor-backed transactions and nurtured a personal interest in debt as both an asset class and an investment proposition
At LBS, I see a unique opportunity to combine academic excellence with meaningful connections. Having benefited from the generosity of the LBS alumni community, I am eager to give back by supporting prospective students in unlocking their potential. If you are interested in the MFA programme or my experience, I would be delighted to connect and answer any questions you may have.
Three topics I can be approached about: GMAT preparation; alumni networking approaches; consulting or banking applications.
