“You don't need to predict the future of AI; you need to build the mindset to learn, evolve, and lead through it.”

Lynn Fakhoury

I often say that my career has been anything but linear…
That journey naturally led me into innovation and fintech, where I discovered my passion for turning ideas into products and transformation into action. This journey has now brought me to another exciting frontier, the world of Artificial Intelligence, continuing the same journey of learning, adapting, and helping organisations navigate what's next.

While our organisation had already identified and prioritised several AI use cases before the programme, its real value was in reshaping how we think about AI for the future. The programme reinforced that AI is not a one-time initiative but a continuously evolving capability that requires organisations to stay curious, keep pace with emerging developments, and continuously adapt their thinking and capabilities.

The knowledge and insights gained through the programme are already influencing how we approach AI across the organisation and will continue to inform our roadmap as we build our capabilities and mature our AI initiatives.

My motivation was to strengthen my ability to lead and make informed decisions in an area that increasingly affects enterprise value, reputation, and operational continuity. LBS Online’s focus on leadership, strategy, and real-world application rather than purely technical detail was a key reason for enrolling.

Coming from a design and innovation background, the technical modules were especially valuable because they completed an important piece of the puzzle for me. Understanding concepts such as fine-tuning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Model Context Protocol (MCP), and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication gave me a much deeper appreciation of how modern AI systems are built, how they work behind the scenes, and how they can be applied in real-world business environments.

I was equally fascinated by the historical perspective of the AI industry and its evolution over time. Understanding where the technology came from, the different waves of innovation it has gone through, and the factors driving its rapid acceleration today provided valuable context. It helped me better appreciate not only where AI is today, but also how to think about where it may be heading and what that means for organisations preparing for the future.

“I wanted to understand not only what AI can do, but also how it works, how organisations can adopt it responsibly, and how to turn its potential into meaningful value.”

My goal was to move from being AI-curious to AI-confident.

I'm being completely honest, I also wanted to finally understand what everyone meant when they talked about RAG, fine-tuning, agents, and all the other acronyms that seemed to appear overnight!

  • Strengthened my ability to lead through ambiguity by making informed decisions in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

  • Enhanced my ability to bridge innovation and execution, turning emerging ideas into practical initiatives that deliver business value.

  • Deepened my confidence in leading responsible conversations around AI, balancing innovation, governance, and organisational readiness.
