I was raised in a big family alongside four brothers in Dublin, Ireland, where hard work and resilience were always encouraged. Growing up, I was fascinated by the international nature of my father’s work, and from an early age I knew I wanted to build a career connected to global markets.

I studied Business Studies with a major in finance at Dublin City University before starting my career at Sysnet Global Solutions, where I was first exposed to M&A. It opened my eyes to what was possible when strategy, technology and execution align.

Eventually, I joined a close friend and successful entrepreneur to lead partnership sales for Robotify, an EdTech company with a significant international footprint. This experience deepened my understanding of global operations and the importance of building the right systems to scale effectively. When the company was later acquired, it reinforced my belief that with the right people and technology, anything is possible.

With acquisition comes change, and that change led me into the world of payments at Revolut. And yes—it was exactly what you would expect: fast growth, tech-driven intensity, and an environment that demanded high output and constant adaptation.

Today, I’m applying that entire journey to PayFex Global, where we’re building a next-generation cross-border payments network powered by strategic partnerships, fintech innovation, and a commitment to making money movement faster and more transparent.

Since starting PayFex Global, growing my network and continuing my PD have been priorities for me. I wanted a course that allowed me to do both simultaneously - and this course offered exactly that.

I wanted to elevate my strategic thinking and gain deeper clarity on how startups can operate efficiently in spaces that are predominately dominated by large incumbents.

This course strengthened my strategic leadership at a pivotal moment for PayFex Global. As we draw the curtain on a successful launch year, and prepare for a major growth year ahead, the capabilities I have been able to nurture during these 6 weeks will help us grow with pace, precision and clarity.

One of the most valuable topics covered in the course for me was Incremental innovation. Everybody associates innovation with radical disruption, and sometimes it is. But the power of incremental innovation to reach new markets is just as significant. Speaking with customers understanding your TAM - learning what little inefficiencies they have and solving them can be a lot more powerful than you think.

There is so much value to be drawn from the content of the course and from the network of impressive people you will meet. Engage fully, ask questions, and be prepared to challenge your assumptions. That’s where the real growth happens.
