Political failures offer lessons for managers

London Business School Professor of Management Practice Andrew Likierman has examined a recent flurry of “errors of judgement” in UK political life in a new piece for Management Today.
Professor Likierman is researching judgment in management and developing applications of a framework for using it. He recently worked with the Financial Reporting Council in the development of its guidance on professional judgement.
He writes: “What is extraordinary is that those who have spent their lives climbing the greasy political pole throw it all away with errors of judgement.”
