In this podcast Richard Portes discusses the actions and agreements needed at the G20 to recover from the global economic crisis.

Richard Portes is Professor of Economics at London Business School and has recently been advising governments on preparations for the Summit, he is also President of the Centre for Economic Policy Research which has analysed a range of policy proposals for how the G20 process might bring about concrete, implementable results that can restore confidence and lead the way to recovery.

In his recent article, ‘Dealing with the crisis: Policy proposals for the G20', Professor Portes further discusses the fundamental financial and macroeconomic issues over which the G20 leaders should agree.
