Aneeta Rattan, Michael Jacobides and Dan Cable nominated for 2019 Thinkers50 prizes
Three London Business School (LBS) faculty have been shortlisted for the 2019 Thinkers50’s Distinguished Achievement Awards.
Aneeta Rattan, Associate Professor of Organisational Behaviour at LBS, has been shortlisted for the Thinkers50 Radar Award. The accolade recognises the next generation of business thinkers most likely to influence business management and thinking in the future. Dr Rattan’s work focuses on mindsets and intergroup relations, including prejudice, stereotyping and inequity.
Michael G Jacobides, Sir Donald Gordon Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at LBS, has been shortlisted for the Thinkers50 Strategy Award. The award celebrates excellence in strategic thinking. An expert in business ecosystems, Professor Jacobides is also an academic advisor to the Boston Consulting Group and a visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Dan Cable, Professor of Organisational Behaviour at LBS, is a shortlisted nominee for the Thinkers50 Talent Award. The Talent Award celebrates thinkers who are shaping the way businesses nurture and get the best out of their talent. Professor Cable’s most recent book, Alive at Work: The Neuroscience of Helping Your People Love What They Do, shows how modern business practices often dampen employees’ enthusiasm for work and how that trend can be reversed.
This year’s award winners will be announced in London on 18 November 2019.
