My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Managing applications and choosing the right program for myself

About me: While I’ve spent most of my childhood growing up in India, I’ve been fortunate to have done summer courses/programs in the countries of Japan, Netherlands, and the US. I then moved to Sweden to pursue my undergraduate degree in Business & Economics at the Stockholm School of Economics during which I also took up the opportunity to do an exchange semester at the Rotterdam School of Management. I relish global experiences and exploring new cultures, foods and the internationalism at LBS definitely lives up to the hype.

During my studies I was able to gain a ton of part-time/internship experience in Fintech/Cleantech start-ups, Equity Research and Private Equity. While still exploring my long-term goals, I believe LBS provides a great foundation to start with and I’m currently exploring buy-side opportunities in Asset Management and Research.

While the programs are very intensive (socially, academically, professionally) one piece of advice from my side would be to prioritise what’s important to you and participate in activities that align with your future goals.

In my free time I play the guitar (fun fact: performed at Hard Rock Café a few times) and am a big NBA and F1 fan.

Three topics I can be approached about: How to make the most out of your time at LBS, navigating the job landscape in London, and university application preperation
