About me: From 2017 and prior to joining LBS, Yuji worked as an engineer at NTT DOCOMO, Japan’s largest telecommunications company. While at NTT DOCOMO, he played a pivotal role in leading an international telecommunication standardisation project known as the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP), where he took the initiative to create 5G network specification standards. Additionally, he was responsible for developing a 5G/6G network and cloud infrastructure. He also led a diversity and inclusion promotion team at NTT DOCOMO.
Yuji decided to pursue an MBA at LBS to transition from a technical expert to a telecom business leader who will bridge technology and business. He chose LBS because of its culture that embraces diversity, its curriculum flexibility and its perfect location in the centre of London. By interacting with a diverse group of people, Yuji aims to maximise his learning experience. He is passionate about learning the latest trends in tech industries and making a social impact.
