My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Combining application activities and timelines with a very busy schedule at the time.

About me: I’m a trained doctor with a Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria. Whilst at university, I also started a fashion business as a wide-eyed second-year medical student. In retrospect, this decision marked the beginning of my journey in business and the love that blossomed thereafter.

My professional experiences and interests are highly diverse as a result of my vast experience in the fashion manufacturing and retailing industries, animal health and educational sector consulting, as well as a development finance internship. I am passionate about community impact, having held various volunteer and leadership positions while studying for my undergraduate degree. My core interests are business operations, optimisation and strategy.

I’m looking to bring my strengths, transferable skills and experiences from my STEM and entrepreneurial backgrounds into working in highly competent teams, solving critical business problems. I’ve come to realise that business leaders aren’t built passively but rather by immersion in the knowledge and practice of business. My goal is to be a business professional and leader the world can trust, regardless of my job function – and what better place to build on that than at LBS!

Three topics I can be approached about: Applying to and studying at LBS from a non-business background; funding; moving to London.
