About me: Tako holds a Bachelors of Business Administration with a major in quantitative finance from Georgian-American University. Prior to joining LBS, she worked as the Chief Risk Management Specialist at the Financial Markets Department of the National Bank of Georgia, where she managed financial risks related to Georgia’s FX reserves (US$5 billion). Her responsibilities also included conducting periodic strategic asset allocation exercises for investment portfolios and communicating the results to top management.

LBS’s Masters in Finance programme offers her an opportunity to broaden her horizons and transition into a new sector by leveraging her years of professional experience in finance. She aims to expand her knowledge across different sectors and gain an academic advantage through the rigorous curriculum and world-renowned faculty.

In her free time, Tako enjoys playing tennis, hiking in Georgia’s beautiful mountains and giving back to the community through active participation in social projects, as well as initiating her own. Her long-term goal is to contribute to the development of Georgia’s capital market.
