About me: Taesung has been working as a Senior Audit Associate and Senior Consultant at accounting firms in South Korea and the US, including EY and KPMG. His key responsibilities included conducting financial and IT audits for financial companies like banks, security firms and insurance providers. He also provided accounting consulting services to multinational corporations.

Through these experiences, Taesung realised he wanted to transition into finance to expand beyond analysing historical data. He therefore sought opportunities to provide future-focused financial strategies to companies through modelling, forecasting and planning.

Accordingly, he decided to attend LBS, drawn by the School’s culture of diversity and inclusion, its global reputation and its one-of-a-kind post-experience finance programme. He hopes to pivot into investment banking, corporate finance or ESG investing in a global financial hub like London.

In his free time, Taesung enjoys backpacking, cooking and weight training.
