About me: Before joining LBS, Shantnu served as an Associate at a family office, collaborating with the CIO to manage their entire portfolio. His responsibilities included sourcing new investment opportunities and conducting due diligence. Additionally, he worked closely with the PM to assist in overseeing the family office’s private debt fund, gaining exposure to various facets of the financial landscape.

Shantnu commenced his career in Dublin, Ireland, where he pursued a BSc in Economics and Finance at University College Dublin on scholarship. Originally from India, he also spent part of his formative years in the US, completing a portion of his middle schooling in California and New Jersey.

Choosing the Masters in Finance programme at LBS was a strategic decision to enhance his skills, broaden his network and benefit from the School’s prestigious reputation. The allure of working in London deeply resonated with him, drawn by its vibrant culture and status as a global financial hub.

Beyond the world of finance, Shantnu finds joy in playing tennis. Despite being a disappointed Manchester United fan, he still avidly follows football as well as tennis and F1. He is also a keen reader of (mostly) non-fiction books to learn and stay informed.
