My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Balancing GMAT preparation with my final year of undergraduate studies.
About me: I was born and raised in the UK, in a town less than an hour away from LBS. My family is originally from Pakistan and has not worked in anything related to business or finance in the past.
My interest in the finance industry stems from a news website I ran between 2020 and 2023, which in turn helped drive my choice to pursue an Economics undergraduate degree. During this time, I completed an internship in Equity Research at J. P. Morgan and in Multi-asset Investing at USS, enabling me to gain an understanding of different types of finance roles.
Following these experiences, I’ve decided to broaden my skillset within the industry by pursuing the Masters in Financial Analysis programme at LBS. I also aim to expand my network by meeting other students within LBS’s diverse international community.
In my free time, I enjoy sports ranging from muay thai to football, keeping up with F1, music and exploring new cultures.
