My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Balancing a demanding job while preparing a compelling application and managing deadlines.
About me: My journey to LBS has been driven by a passion for innovation and creating value. With a background as a chartered accountant, I initially worked in compliance and auditing but found that the role didn’t satisfy my desire to drive real impact. Seeking a more dynamic and impactful career, I transitioned to strategy consulting for an incubation fund, where I worked with blockchain startups and fintech companies. This experience revealed the incredible potential of technology and solidified my interest in strategic problem-solving.
When I discovered LBS’s Masters in Management programme, it felt like the perfect next step. The programme’s focus on core business disciplines, coupled with its global perspective and opportunities for hands-on learning, aligned with my career aspirations and desire to be at the forefront of innovation. The programme’s emphasis on experiential learning, such as consulting projects and global business insights, particularly appealed to me.
Living in London has been a transformative experience. Despite the challenges of adjusting to a new city, I’ve enjoyed exploring its vibrant culture and diverse opportunities. I’ve engaged with the LBS community through various activities and am excited to continue contributing and growing here. The combination of LBS’s world-class education and London’s dynamic environment makes this journey incredibly rewarding.
Three topics I can be approached for: Blockchain and fintech; accounts and careers in compliance; music and anything related to it.
