About me: Pedro comes from São Paulo, Brazil. He is the first in his family to finish university and completed a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo in 2015. He also studied for a MSc from the Politecnico di Torino, Italy, in 2015, through a double-degree programme.

To date, Pedro’s career has focused on the Brazilian electricity sector. His role prior to the MBA was head of product strategy at Auren Energia, one of the largest power generators in Brazil. Before this, he worked in portfolio strategy, carbon trading and market intelligence.

Pedro constantly seeks to learn new things, loves to study and to teach. He chose to pursue an MBA at LBS to develop himself into a global professional and help the transition towards a more renewable world. His main goals during his time at LBS are to improve his business acumen and his leadership skills; to achieve this, he joined the Energy & Environment Club and People Strategy Club.

In his free time, Pedro enjoys walking with his dog, sourdough baking, hiking and exploring new places. If there is a brewery on the way, all the better. He also enjoys having people over for dinner and discussing random themes.
