My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Structuring my academic and career narratives.

About me: I was born and raised in the southernmost states of India and pursued my undergraduate degree in Commerce & Accounting. Simultaneously, I completed the ACCA course to start a career in professional accounting.

After my undergraduate studies, I worked for a year and a half as a financial analyst before deciding that, although I love accounting, I would like to transition into a strategy or management role. My subsequent internship as an incubation and investment analyst at a start-up ecosystem helped me discover that I would like to explore a career in consulting or the diversified sectors.

I chose to pursue the Masters in Management at LBS because of the opportunity to learn from a broad network of young professionals and expand my horizons. Since arriving at LBS, I have had a great time meeting other students from diverse backgrounds and learning from the world-class faculty.

Apart from my professional and academic interests, I enjoy reading, visiting museums and thrift shopping.

Three topics I can be approached about: Moving to London; the Wellbeing Services at LBS; transitioning from accounting to management.
