My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Leaving a clear path at my old company for the uncertain and competitive environment of London.
About me: I’m a Brazilian who has decided to pursue a finance career in London. Having graduated in 2024 in Production Engineering, I discovered my passion and interest in finance during my undergraduate studies and decided to pursue the Masters in Financial Analysis programme at LBS for the unique experiences that I knew it would provide me with.
During my bachelors, I had the opportunity to do an exchange and to see how important it was to get out of my comfort zone, interacting with other people and throwing myself into new opportunities.
I worked for over a year in the asset management industry as a Private Debt Analyst at one of the biggest banks in Brazil. This experience emphasised the importance of always seeking improvement and innovation within the finance industry and receiving different perspectives from people with different backgrounds. Therefore, LBS was the ideal place for me.
My goal is to develop in the asset management industry and to contribute to a more sustainable finance and investing context.
