Education: Bachelors, École hôtelière de Lausanne, Switzerland; graduated in 2021
Topic(s) studied: International Hospitality Management
Interested in: Real Estate, private equity, investment banking
My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Management of time between GMAT preparation, work and applications.
About me: I grew up between France and Switzerland and completed a Bachelor’s in International Hospitality Management from the École hôtelière de Lausanne. Along with my studies, I interned for six months in the asset management department at Katara Hospitality, the Qatari Sovereign Wealth Fund, and got an overview of hotel management from a long-term owner’s perspective. After graduating, I joined JLL in Dubai – a real estate consultancy – which was an excellent opportunity to broaden my knowledge through work on giga-projects in Saudi Arabia, UAE and Egypt. It exposed me to new asset classes and their synergy in a portfolio context and required cooperation with multiple departments.
With experience in real estate development and the Middle Eastern market, I was eager to take the next step and move to London and pursue the Masters in Financial Analysis programme at LBS to build a strong basis in finance, get closer to the firms in Europe, network and find employment opportunities that could maximise my early career growth.
Beyond my academic and career aspirations, I am passionate about increasing diversity. As a Women’s Merit scholar and having worked in the Middle East where women are not always represented, I aim to make an impact and fight for inclusion, respect and equality in the workplace.
On a personal note, I love travelling, skiing, fitness and connecting with new people.
Three topics I can be approached about: LBS clubs and community; LBS application; moving to London.
