About me: I am deeply committed to making a positive impact in the world of finance and am proud to serve as a student ambassador at LBS, where I am pursuing my Masters in Finance.
My academic journey began with a bachelors in Banking and Finance through an integrated programme with HSBC, during which I published a thesis exploring the impact of soft factors on M&A.
Prior to joining LBS, I gained substantial experience as an Associate in HSBC’s Investment Banking Division, working across the Düsseldorf, Paris and London offices. As part of the global Corporate Finance Advisory team, I provided strategic, multidisciplinary financial solutions for clients, advising on capital structure, M&A and debt and equity market strategies. My role involved optimising balance sheets for strategic transactions, navigating complex financial landscapes and delivering value to clients across industries. This experience in investment banking sharpened both my technical expertise and leadership abilities, reinforcing my understanding that finance goes beyond numbers—it’s about understanding the diverse needs of businesses and individuals from different sectors and backgrounds.
At LBS, I have been able to deepen my expertise and broaden my perspective by collaborating with peers and faculty who bring diverse experiences and insights from across the globe. The diversity of thought and experience among my peers and faculty has been incredibly inspiring, pushing me to explore new ways to apply my financial expertise.
I am actively involved in the Finance, DACH and Private Equity and Venture Capital Clubs. I’ve had the privilege of leading initiatives such as the Private Equity and Venture Capital Trek, connecting students with industry professionals to create valuable networking and learning opportunities.
What attracted me to LBS was its strong reputation for fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. My ambition is to refine my skillset, expand my network and explore emerging trends in finance, all with the goal of contributing to shaping the future of the industry.
As a student ambassador, I am passionate about sharing my journey and, more importantly, listening to and supporting those who are considering LBS as the next step in their career. I know first-hand the transformative power of this community and I look forward to helping others discover their place here, encouraging them to push boundaries and pursue their passions in finance and beyond.
