About me: Before joining the MBA programme at LBS, Joakim worked as a Manager at EQT’s CFO Office in Stockholm for over three years, working on projects such as strategy plans, debt financing, shareholder-related matters and M&A. Prior to EQT, Joakim worked with M&A investment banking in the Nordics at Alantra, a mid-market investment bank.
Joakim decided to pursue an MBA at LBS because he wanted to broaden his knowledge base for his future career, build a global network and have the opportunity to live and work in a dynamic city like London.
After his MBA, Joakim is hoping to work in a role where he can utilise the skills he’s developed during his time at LBS, and from his earlier career, in areas such as private equity, investment banking or strategy consulting.
Off campus, Joakim enjoys exploring new cultures, running and spending time with his girlfriend and friends.
