About me: I hold a bachelors degree in Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica, Chile, which laid the foundation for my analytical and problem-solving skills and prepared me for a career in the retail sector.

Before pursuing the MBA, I worked as a Product Manager in the Footwear Department at Falabella Retail SA, the leading retail company in Latin America. For three and a half years, I focused on the online sector, turning around a historically unprofitable category by negotiating marketing media plan investments and higher-quality merchandising visuals with suppliers. I also collaborated with apparel buyers to develop bundled sales initiatives, achieving the highest category growth and revenue share. I was also part of the wellbeing committee in the eCommerce division, where I organised the first padel championship, bringing together 34 players for a mixed tournament to encourage inter-departmental interaction. In addition, I led the creation of an onboarding platform, the E-commerce School, managing a team of 36 people.

Prior to this, I spent three years in the department stores division, launching and developing brands for Falabella’s 48 stores in Chile. I was part of cross-functional teams across different geographies, including Peru and Colombia, negotiating with Chinese and Indian suppliers to develop private label products.

After six and a half years at Falabella, I sought a new challenge. I wanted to enhance my global perspective and develop my business, leadership and critical thinking skills. This led me to the MBA at LBS. I was particularly attracted to LBS’s diversity and global mindset, not only in terms of nationalities but also work experience and backgrounds. The flexibility of the programme and the advantage of its London location were also key factors in my decision to attend LBS.

On a personal note, I am passionate about sports, especially padel and tennis, which I play once a week. In my free time, I love travelling and exploring new places around the world, learning new languages and discovering restaurants to try new cuisines.

Three topics I can be approached for: Retail; eCommerce; coming with a partner who is not studying.
