About me: Hugh grew up in the UK and studied English Literature at Durham University. After graduating he joined the charity Teach First and taught Maths in a secondary school in North London. Since then he has continued to work with the public sector, and spent four years as a management consultant at PwC/Strategy& working with government clients in healthcare, defence and transport. Prior to starting at LBS he worked for Century Tech, an EdTech startup that uses AI to maximise student learning. He decided to join LBS to explore different career paths in social impact and tech, and to meet people with diverse backgrounds and experiences.

In addition to his student ambassador role, Hugh is an active member of numerous clubs, including the Social Impact and Entrepreneurship Clubs, where he is part of the Launchpad team working to identify promising start-up ideas and help them build their product to be investment ready. Outside of work, Hugh is a keen musician, and sings in a chamber choir in London. He also loves to try new restaurants, and plays as many different sports as he has time for.

Three topics I can be approached about: London; education; public sector
