About me: Hamza hails from the city of wind and deep-dish pizza, more formally known as Chicago. He studied at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and graduated in 2016 with a degree in Accounting.

In his professional career, Hamza worked in M&A post-merger integration at Deloitte, where he helped companies navigate the hurdles and complexities associated with mergers, acquisitions, separations and legal entity simplification projects.

Hoping to leverage his skills in problem-solving and execution strategy, Hamza decided to pursue an MBA to help transition into a social impact consulting role. What attracted Hamza the most to LBS was the myriad of opportunities the School provides in the realm of social impact through academics and extracurricular opportunities, as well as the School’s opportune location in a world-class city.

In his free time, Hamza is a basketball junkie (playing and watching), loves trying out new recipes in the kitchen and follows his passion by sitting on the board of a non-profit organisation that oversees the operations of international orphanages.
