About me: Farrel grew up in Connecticut and holds a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. Before pursuing her MBA at LBS, she worked at US- based meal kit company Blue Apron in New York City. Farrel held multiple roles, first leading Blue Apron’s CX strategy, then managing Blue Apron’s direct-to-consumer wine business. Prior to joining Blue Apron, Farrel was a consultant at Prophet, where she helped global companies grow through customer-led brand and digital experience innovation.

Farrel came to LBS to build a global network, meet people from backgrounds drastically different from her own, and embrace the opportunity to live and work in London. Outside of class, she can be found planning wine and cheese tastings for the Wine & Spirits Club (Executive Committee – Vice President of Education), organising treks to London’s most exciting tech companies for the Tech & Media Club (Executive Committee – Vice President of Treks), and attempting to pass the ball backwards on the Women’s Rugby team. Farrel is happiest when exploring the London food scene and aspires to meet Yotam Ottolenghi before she graduates.

Three topics I can be approached about: Selecting LBS as an American; consulting vs startups; food/beverage tech
