About me: After graduating from the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Fakhriddin joined a newly established boutique advisory firm that had regional coverage. A dynamic environment and challenging projects in various industries consolidated his interest in business, finance and operations with a particular focus on the private sector. He realised that the finance and financial performance of a company is essential to understanding the business, so he joined the assurance department at an audit firm.

Low-income countries in Central Asia have inherent limitations – projects tend to be small in scale and complexity and less impactful to a wider circle of stakeholders. Fakhriddin therefore joined the largest international financial institution operating in the country, where he was able to solidify his expertise in finance as part of an investment bank with a strong ESG and Impact mandate.

After five years at the bank, he decided to boost his international exposure by pursuing the Masters in Finance at LBS. He looks forward to meeting an incredible cohort of finance professionals from around the world and deepening his knowledge of sustainability and impact in finance through his involvement in student clubs.
